Ministering to Christ's Church in His Name For His Glory

Three Things Of Which Churches Have Too Little

Churches never seem to have enough money, time, or workers for everything they want to do.

Unfortunately, a church building program will only increase the stress on these three already critical resources.

If your church is like most churches, it's usually the same 10% of the people doing 90% of the work.  When you start a building program, much of the burden of figuring out what to do, how to do it, and then doing it right the first time is going to fall on the shoulders of these same saints. Already busy people will need to take on more responsibility and attend even more meetings to assist in this important work.  This effort will consume downtime and precious time with their families. This additional time and effort commitment can have a negative impact on ministries in which the workers are involved as well as serve to potentially burnout some of your best people.

One of the things that the church can do to alleviate the impact in the amount of time, stress, effort and money that needs to be invested in a building program is to get some outside help.  An outside consultant can streamline the process, reduce the cost of a building program, and can be an asset that will alleviate the amount of time, effort and stress that will need to be invested by the leadership and workers in the building program.  An outside resource should not an considered an expense, but an investment that will pay dividends in not only real cost savings, but in ministering to those already committed to the success of the church.
