"From concept to
completion, your church will not undertake a more demanding and complicated task
in terms of money, risk and effort than in a building program."
Stephen Anderson, Preparing to Build
"Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors
they are established"
(Proverbs 15:22).
Assessment
A Assessment is
a proven way for your church to seek wise counsel prior to construction. It will
help equip your church leaders for your church construction project by rendering an
experienced, qualified opinion on: the overall project feasibility, the achievability
of the church’s plans, and the church's financial ability to build - before the church
commits to the expensive steps of design or construction.
Based on information provided by the church, an assessment is an effective way to get
a church building expert's time to make sure your church has
not missed a critical step or failed to consider all the options before it
commits to its construction plans. It is a great way to build unity, support,
and avoid potential pitfalls.

Church Needs & Feasibility study
More comprehensive than a
Feasibility Assessment, a Needs and Feasibility Study takes your church though
the process of: gathering and objectively analyzing information regarding:
-
Ministry and community needs
-
The church's financial ability
-
Land issues
-
Church financing &
construction options, and
Other issues specific to your construction project to determine the
optimum building solution that will meet both ministry needs and the
church's financial ability. Rather than merely rendering an opinion, the
consultant will make a considered, qualified report and recommendation to the
church consistent with the findings of the needs and feasibility study.

white paper on an independent study of 321 churches that had built and the
how a needs and feasibility study improved the process and satisfaction
level of the church with the building program.

Church Capital Campaign / Stewardship Training
A capital stewardship
campaign is a key part of nearly every church's construction & financial
strategy. Although a capital campaign will raise a great deal of money for
building, the term capital campaign can be a bit of a misnomer, as a stewardship
campaign is less about money than it is about spiritual understanding and
growth.
A capital campaign is not high pressure sales tactics or imposing guilt
in an attempt to "fleece the sheep"; rather it is a path of spiritual
growth and coming together in agreement and understanding of God's perfect plan
of providence and stewardship. Most churches will see spiritual growth in
many members in addition to raising 1 to 3 times their current
annual giving over a 3-year period ( in addition to regular giving).

Financing Package
Regretfully, most churches
are unable to build without borrowing money for their building program.
When it is time to obtain church construction financing, a properly
prepared financial package will shorten the time to get a church loan approval
while also saving
thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. Much more than just
financial statements, a good financial package will help the church negotiate
both lower construction loan costs and a lower interest rate, while improving the chances of
getting the needed financing approved for its building program. This can
be included as part of a Needs & Feasibility engagement or delivered as a
stand-alone service.
